Thai Beef Soup With Coconut Milk Recipe

Ingredients

  • Beef  (cut into small piece) - 250 grams
  • Beef stock - 1000 ml
  • Galangal (sliced) - 1 tablespoon
  • Kaffir leaves (shredded) - 5 pieces
  • Lemongrass (bruised) - 4 stalks
  • Coconut milk - ½ cup
  • Fish sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili padi (crushed) - 6 pieces
  • Coriander leaves


Method

  • Bring beef stock to a boil then add in beef and all other spices.
  • Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour until beef become tender then add coconut milk, stir gently and bring to boil again.
  • Add lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves when serve.
