Ingredients
- Beef (cut into thick
strips) - 400 grams
- Beef stock - 1000ml
- Green peas - 200 grams
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Coriander (chopped) - 2
stalks
- Onion (sliced) - 2 pieces
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
Method
- Blend or pound garlic, chopped
coriander, fish sauce and oil into paste then marinate beef for
1 hour.
- Remove marinade from beef and
fry beef in a sauce pan until both sides turn golden brown. Set
aside remaining marinade for later use.
- Add beef stock to the fried
beef and bring to a boil. Return marinade mixture into the sauce
and simmer with low heat until beef is cooked and tender and
sauce thicken.
- Dish out beef and half of the
sauce then cook green peas and onion in the remaining sauce for
3 minutes.
- Spread green peas over beef
and serve.
