This easy to prepare delicious
crispy Fried Pork with Garlic also known as "Moo Tod Gratiem"
Ingredients
- Lean pork (cut into thick
slices) - 500 grams
- Garlic (pounded) - 5 cloves
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoons
- Thai chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - (sliced thinly) - 5
cloves
- Cornstarch - 1
tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Light soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Pepper and sugar to taste
Method
- Soften the pork with a meat
mallet or the back of a cleaver then marinate with pounded
garlic, coriander powder, cornstarch, fish sauce, soy sauce,
pepper and sugar for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking
oil in a wok and pan fry marinated pork turn golden brown on
each side. Do not over cook so that the meat is crispy on the
out side and remain juicy inside. Dish out, drain well and
arrange on a serving plate.
- Remove residues from the
remaining oil and sauté garlic slices for a while just to turn
it golden in color. Drain well and spread it on fried pork and
serve.
