Ingredients
Pigeon - 1 bird (600 grams)
Dang Gui - 3 slices
Ji Zhi - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 2 slices
Water - 800 ml
Salt to taste
Method
Rinse Dang Gui and Ji Zji well, drain and set aside.
Clean pigeon and scald in boiling water for 1 minute, drain and rinse with cold water.
Place all ingredients into a steam pot and cover with sufficient amount of boiled water.
Steam with medium heat for 2½ hours, season with salt and serve hot.
Note: Dang Gui and Ji Zhi can easily obtained from most of the Chinese Medicine shop.
