Chicken Soup With Winter Melon Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chicken - ½ Bird

  • Winter Melon - 400 grams

  • Dried cuttlefish - 1 piece

  • Red Dates (remove seeds)- 7 pieces

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Rinse chicken well and cut into chunks, scald and set aside.

  • Remove skin and cut winter melon into chunks.

  • Rinse dried cuttlefish and red dates well and set aside.

  • Bring 1 liter of water to boil and add in all ingredients. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1½ hour.

  • Add salt to taste and serve hot.
