Chicken With Cordyceps Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chinese cordyceps - 20 grams

  • Gingko - 40 grams

  • Sweet almonds - 40 grams

  • Bitter almond - 12 pieces

  • Chicken - 1 bird

  • ginger - 2 slices

  • Water - 2 liters

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Wash and clean all ingredients, scald chicken with boiling water and rinse well.

  • Remove gingko shell, soak in hot water for a while then remove membrane and core.

  • Bring 2 liters of water to boil then add all ingredients in. Bring soup to boil again then turn to low heat and continue to cook for 3 hours.

  • Add salt to taste and serve hot.

  • Adjust cooking time if you use slow cooker or pressure cooker.
