Stir-fried Squid and Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

  • squid - 450g
  • broccoli - 300g
  • wine - 2 tsp
  • spring onion - 1 stalk
  • wood ear - 10g
  • carrot - a few slices
  • grated garlic - ½ tsp
  • ginger - 2 slices
  • salt and pepper

Sauce

  • water - 3 tbsp
  • corn starch - ½ tsp
  • salt and sugar - ¼ tsp each
  • sesame oil

Method

  • Soak the broccoli in salty water for 15 minutes, then wash and cut into florets.
  • Stir fry the broccoli and add salt. Set aside after it cooked.
  • Remove the membrane of the squid, slash crisscross pattern on the surface.
  • Scald in boiling water then drain. Marinate with salt and pepper for 10 minutes.
  • Soak the wood ear in water, trim, wash then drain it.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil and stir fry the wood ear, garlic, and ginger.
  • Pour in the squid, add wine, broccoli, carrot, spring onion and ingredients for the sauce.
  • Stir fry and mix well. Serve.
