Steamed Yellow Fin Bream Recipe

Ingredients

  • yellow fin bream - 1
  • ginger - ½ tbsp, shredded
  • cloud ear - a few
  • dried lily flowers - 10g
  • Chinese parsley
  • lean pork - 38g
  • dried black mushrooms - 3
  • red dates - 2

Seasoning

  • oil - 2 tsp
  • light soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • corn starch
  • sesame oil
  • sugar
  • dark soy sauce - 1 tsp

Method

  • Wash and scale the fish, pat dry.
  • Rub the fish (inside and outside) with corn starch, pepper and wine. Place the fish on plate and sprinkle ginger on top.
  • Wash and trim the cloud ear and the dried lily flower. Then shredded the pork and the mushrooms. Core and shred the red dates.
  • Add in the seasoning ingredients on top the fish and steam for 10 minutes.
  • Add in the Chinese parsley, 1 tbsp of boiling oil and light soy sauce. Serve.
