Snaked-head Mullet with Ginseng Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • snake-head mullet - 1
  • pork - 225g
  • American ginseng root - 10g
  • salt
  • water
  • red dates - 4
  • ginger - 2 slices

Method

  • Clean the ginseng root, rinse and core the dates.
  • Wash and scale the fish.
  • Fry the fish until two sides slightly brown. Dish up and remove the grease with warm water.
  • Wash the pork, put into boiling water for 3 minutes, remove and rinse.
  • Boil some water (suitable amount), add all ingredients into it and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Reduce to low heat and cook for another 2 hours.
  • Season with salt. Serve.
