Ingredients
- cucumber - 1
- white vinegar - ½ cup
- mackerel - 2 pieces
- salt
- granulated sugar - 1½ tbsp
- pepper
Hot and Sour Sauce
- water - 2 tbsp
- ketchup - 2 tbsp
- chili sauce - 1 tsp
- corn starch - 1/3 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 tsp
- salt
Method
- Clean and dry the fish.
Marinate with salt and pepper for 20 minutes.
- Boil the vinegar, salt, sugar
over a low heat. Cool it then soak the cucumber in the vinegar
for an hour.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil, sprinkle the
fish with a pinch of corn starch, and fry until it turn golden
brown on both sides. Set aside.
- Boil all ingredients for the
sour sauce, then pour onto the fish. Serve.
