Crabs Stuffed With Fillings Recipe

 

      Ingredients

  • Crabs - 6 pieces
  • Egg (beaten) - 1 piece
  • Button mushrooms (chopped) - 50 grams
  • Onions (chopped) - 1 piece
  • Bread (crust remove) - 3 slices
  • Milk -  ½ cup
  • Coriander (chopped ) - 2 stalks
  • Sugar - ¼ teaspoon
  • Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs - ½ cup
  • Parmesan Cheese (grated finely) -  ½ cup
  • Black pepper (freshly grated) - ¼ teaspoon

      Method

  • Clean crabs properly and steamed for 20 minutes. Remove fresh and reserve crab shells then set aside.
  • Cubed the sliced bread and soaked in ½ cup of milk, set aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and stir-fry onions until fragrant, add mushrooms in  and continue to fry for another minute then set aside.
  • Combine and mix well bread, fried onions mixture crabmeat, coriander, egg, sugar and pepper for the filling.
  • Divide filling into 6 portions and stuff into the crab shells. Place in a baking plate and sprinkle grated cheese and breadcrumbs as topping.
  • Preheat the oven at 180˚C and bake dish for 20 minutes until tops are lightly golden brown.
