Ingredients
- bitter gourds - 375g
- catfish - 1
- ginger - 2 slices
- water
- salt
- black salted turnip - 1 slice
Method
- Wash and scale the fish. Clean
the fish with salt to remove its slime.
- Heat ½ tbsp oil and stir fry i
slice of the ginger, add in the fish and fry until it turn brown
on both sides.
- Wash and halve the bitter
gourds, remove the seeds and pith. Wash the black salted turnip
and sliced.
- Boil a suitable amount of
water, pour in all ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat and cook for
another 2 hours. Season with salt.
- Serve.
