Ingredients
- rice -1 1/2 cup
- ginger
(smashed) - 1 inch
- pandan leaves
(clean, knotted) - 2 pieces
- shallots
(sliced) - 3 pieces
- coconut milk -
1/2 cups
- water - 2 cups
- salt to taste

Method
- rinse and wash rice then
drain.
- add water, coconut milk and
all other ingredients, the liquid should slightly cover the
rice.
- turn on rice cooker to cook
rice and when rice is cooked, let it stand for about 10 minutes.
- loosen rice with wooden spoon
and serve hot with hard boiled egg, cucumber slices and crispy
deep-fried ikan bilis (dried anchovies).
