Glass Noodle Salad Recipe (Kerabu Tang Hoon)

Ingredients

  • Glass noodle (soaked) - 300 grams

  • Prawns (small, shelled & cooked) - 150 grams

  • Minced Ginger flower - some for garnishing

  • Fried shallots - some for garnishing

Seasoning sauce

  • Sambal belachan - 3 tablespoons

  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons

  • Sugar - 2 teaspoons

  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons

  • Thick coconut milk - 100 ml

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Mix seasoning ingredients well in a big mixing bowl.

  • Soak and blanch glass noodles then mix well with cooked prawns and seasoning ingredients.

  • Garnish with some minced ginger flower ands fried shallots. Serve.
