Chinese teapots are usually small in size. When making it in teapot, scald the pot first with boiling water then add the measured amount of tea leaves into the pot. Pour in the boiling water to the full mark and close the cover and let it stand for 30 seconds. The tea leaves can serve for four rounds of refilling before it gets too diluted and can be discarded.

When making the tea directly in the cup, rinse and warm the cup with hot water, add tea leave and pour in boiling water and cover with lid. Since amount of tea leaves by using cup is relatively less, therefore it is only good to refill one more time and you have to change new tea leaves.
