Fish Curry Recipe

Ingredients

 

Fish - 500 grams

Fish Curry powder - 80 grams

Tomato (halved) - 2 pieces

Lady's finger - 6 pieces

Green chili - 5 pieces

Thick coconut milk - 1 cup

Tamarind juice - 3 tablespoons

Water - 2 cups

Cooking oil - 6 tablespoons

Salt to taste

 

Seasoning

 

Onion (chopped) - 1 piece

Shallots (chopped) - 3 pieces

Garlic (sliced) - 3 cloves

Halba seeds - 1 tablespoon

Curry leaves - few pieces

 

Methods

 

Heal oil in a pan sauté seasoning till slightly golden brown.

Add curry powder and tamarind juice, bring to boil for a few minutes.

Put in lady's fingers, green chilies, tomatoes, fish, thick coconut milk, water and salt, simmer for 10 minutes and then serve hot.

 

Note: Fish Curry Powder in packet can be obtained from most provision shops
