Cottage Cheese Tikka Recipe (Baked Paneer)

     Ingredients

  • Paneer - 500 grams

  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon

  • Butter - 2 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

     Marinade A

  • White pepper powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Garam masala - 1 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon

  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

     Marinade B

  • Cream - 70 ml

  • Yoghurt (whisked) - 70 ml

  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon

  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

     Method

  • Cut paneer into bite size cube.

  • Mix paneer with marinade A and marinate for 30 minute in fridge.

  • Marinate with marinade B for another 30 minute.

  • Bake it for 5 minutes on each side with an oven at 180˚C.

  • Brush some melted butter on the bake paneer and sprinkle with chaat masala lime juice.

  • Serve with mint chutney.
