Ingredients
- Red Pepper -1 piece
- Green pepper - 1 piece
- Cooking oil - 15 ml/ 1

- Cumin Seeds - 5 ml/1 teaspoon
- Fennel seeds - 2.5 ml/ ˝
teaspoon
- Onion (sliced) - 1 piece
- Garlic (minced)- 1 clove
- Red chili (chopped)- 1 piece
- Root Ginger - (finely chopped) -
2.5 cm/1 inch
- Curry paste - 15 ml / 1
tablespoon
- Salt - ˝ teaspoon
- Fillet steak (cut into thick
strips) - 680 grams/ 1˝lbs
- Naan bread - to serve
Method
- Cut the red and green pepper
into 1 inch chunks.
- Heat up the cooking oil in
frying pan and stir-fry cumin and fennel seed for 2 minute until
it begin to splutter.
- Add onions, garlic, ginger and
chili then stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
- Add curry paste and salt
stir-fry and mix well for further 3 minute.
- Add red and green pepper
together with the beef and some water to moist the dish.
- Stir-fry for about 10
minutes until beef is cooked and tender.
- Serve 4 with warm naan bread
