Walnut Soup Recipe

     Ingredients

  • Walnuts - 225 grams

  • Lean pork - 300 grams

  • Honey dates - 4 pieces

  • Dried tangerine peel - ¼ piece

  • Salt to taste

 

Method

  • Break walnut shell and use only the kernels. Parboil for 2 minutes, rinse and drain.

  • Par boil lean pork for 2 minutes, rinse and set aside. Soak dried tangerine peel until soften and remove pith.

  • Boil 1500 ml of water with tangerine peel for 15 minutes then add all other ingredients in and boil for another 15 minutes. Turn to low heat and simmer for another 2 hours.

  • Season with salt and serve hot.
