Steam Pigeon With Chinese herbs Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pigeon - 1 bird

  • Lean pork - 100 grams

  • Bei Qi - 10 grams

  • Dang Shen - 13 grams

  • Dried longan - 6 pieces

  • Ginger - 1 slice

  • Boiling water - 5 cups

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Clean all ingredients, parboil pigeon and lean pork for 3 minutes, drain and set aside.

  • Put all ingredients in a steam pot, add boiling water in, cover and steam for 3 hours.

  • Add salt to taste and serve hot.
