Seafood Rolls In Laver Recipe

Ingredients

  • Prawns (medium size) - 300 grams

  • Square laver - 2 sheets

  • Ham (shredded thickly) - 80 grams

Marinade ingredients

  • Sesame oil - few drops

  • Pepper and salt to taste

 

Sauce ingredients

  • Cornstarch solution - 3 tablespoons

  • Light soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

  • Sesame oil - few drops

  • Sugar and salt to taste

Method

  • Cut laver sheets into 2inches X 4 inches in size.

  • Remove shell and clean prawns well, rub with salt, rinse then pat dry and marinate for 10 minutes.

  • Spread out laver sheet, place 1 prawn and a strip of ham on to the sheet, roll and arrange on a serving plate. Steam for 4 minutes.

  • Heat up 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wok, add sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Spread sauce onto the rolls and serve hot.
