Pig's Kidney Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pig's kidney - 2 peces

  • Dang gui (sliced) - 15 grams

  • Dang shen - 35 grams

  • Lean pork - 150 grams

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Cut pig's kidney into half, rinse and remove white tendon.

  • Boil 1200 ml of water together with dang gui and dang shen then add pig's kidney and lean pork in.

  • Turn to low heat and continue to simmer 1½ hour. Dish out kidney and slice thickly.

  • Add salt to taste and serve hot.
