Ingredients

Pig's fore trotter - 1 piece

Papaya (not too ripe) - 800 grams

Peanuts -100 grams

Red dates (seeds removed) - 4 pieces

Dried tangerine peel - ½ piece

Salt to taste
Method

Peel skin of papaya and remove
seeds, cut into 4 pieces.

Soak peanuts with hot water for 15
minutes and remove skin.

Soak dried tangerine peel for 10
minutes and remove pith.

Clean pig's trotter, chop into
pieces and parboil for 3 minutes. Rinse and set aside.

Boil 2000 ml of water with
tangerine peel for 15 minutes, add pig's trotter, peanuts and
red dates and bring to boil again.

Turn to medium heat and cook for 1
hour, add papaya and simmer for another 1 hour, add salt to
taste and serve hot.
