Long Li Leaves Soup

Ingredients

  • Long Li leave (dragon tongue leaves) - 10 pieces

  • Honey dates - 4 pieces

  • Sweet almonds - 1 tablespoon

  • Edible bitter almond - 10 pieces

  • Rock sugar - 1 tablespoon

  • Water - 4 cups

 

Method

  • Soak long li leaves, sweet and bitter almonds for 10 minutes, drain and set aside.

  • Bring 4 cups of water to boil, add all ingredients in and boil for 5 minutes then simmer with low heat for 40 minutes.

  • Serve hot.
