Haw Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • Haw - 8 grams

  • Gu Ya - 80 grams

  • Malt - 20 grams

  • Preserved prunes - 4 pieces

  • Licorice (Gan Cao) - 3 pieces

  • Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons

  • Water - 5 cups

Method

  • Rinse all ingredients and put into a clay pot.

  • Add water and bring to boil then turn to low heat and simmer for 409 minutes.

  • Strain and add brown sugar continue to simmer until sugar melted.

  • Serve hot.

*Most of the Chinese herbs can be obtained from Chinese medical hall.
