Ingredients

Haw - 8 grams

Gu Ya - 80 grams

Malt - 20 grams

Preserved prunes - 4 pieces

Licorice (Gan Cao) - 3 pieces

Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
-
Water - 5 cups
Method
-
Rinse all ingredients and put into
a clay pot.

Add water and bring to boil then
turn to low heat and simmer for 409 minutes.

Strain and add brown sugar
continue to simmer until sugar melted.

Serve hot.
