Ingredients
- Yam - 500 grams
- Tapioca Flour - 250 grams
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Cooking oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic (chopped) - 1

- Small onions (sliced) - 3

- Firm bean curd (shredded) - 1

- Lean pork (shredded) - 150
grams
- Dried prawns - 50 grams
- Dried mushrooms (soaked and
shredded) - 4 pieces
- Dried cuttlefish (shredded) -
50 grams
- Black Cloud Years (soaked and
shredded) - 10 pieces

Method
- Clean and remove skin from
yam, cut into pieces and steam until soft.
- Mix tapioca flour with little
bit of oil and water and knead into a smooth dough. Divide dough
into small portions and form into abacus shape.
- Drop yam abacus into boiling
water until it float up then drain and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking
oil and stir fry garlic and small onions until fragrant.
- Add in all ingredients B with
fish sauce, pepper, salt and water and bring to boil. Stir well
and simmer for 2 minutes, add yam abacus and toss to mix well. serve
hot.
