Ingredients
- Pork (belly part) - 1.5 kilograms
- Black cloud ears - 50 grams
- Cooking oil for deep frying
- Water - 1 liter
Marinades
- Fermented red bean curds - 2
cubes
- Light soy sauce - ½ teaspoon
- Ginger juice - 2 tablespoons
- Shallot juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic juice - 1 tablespoon
- Five spices powder - 1
teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 2 teaspoons
- Egg - 1 piece
- cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
- Salt and sugar to taste
Method
- Clean pork and marinate
with marinades for more than 1 hour. Keep marinades for later
use.
- Soak black cloud ear in warm
water and drain.
- Heat cooking and deep fry
marinated pork belly until golden brown and skin crispy.
- Add fried pork,
marinades and black
cloud ears into 1 liter of water and bring to boil. Stew with low
heat for about 1 hour until pork are tender. Taste and
serve.
