Steamed Turnip Balls Recipe

     Ingredients

  • Turnip - 300 grams

  • Minced pork - 60 grams

  • Corn starch - 60 grams

  • Spring onions (chopped) - 2 stalks

  • Salt and White pepper to taste

 

Method

  • Peel turnip and shredded into long strips. Add corn starch, seasoning and toss to mix well.

  • Add light soy sauce and white pepper to taste with minced pork and stir to mix well.

  • Wrap 1 teaspoon minced pork with 1 tablespoon of shredded turnip and form into a round ball like size of ping pong. (Ingredients should be enough to make about 30 balls)

  • Place all turnip balls in a plate and steam with high heat for 12 minutes.

  • Garnish with chopped onions and serve hot.
