Pineapple Stir-Fry With Pig Intestine

     Ingredients
  • Pig Intestine - 600 grams
  • Pineapple - 400 grams
  • Garlic (chopped)- 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger - 5 slices
  • Tamarind Juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Plain Flour - 5 tablespoons
  • White Vinegar -2 tablespoons
  • cornstarch solution - 1 tablespoon
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar and salt to taste

     Method

  • Clean pig intestine thoroughly, mix tamarind juice with 1 tablespoon of salt and 5 tablespoons of plain flour, rub with pig intestine for 2 minutes then rinse with water. Scald in boiling water for a while then cut into serving pieces.
  • Heat up cooking oil in pan and sauté ginger and garlic until fragrant. Add pig intestine, pineapple then stir fry for about 2 minutes. Add rice vinegar, sugar and cornstarch solution, stir and mix well until gravy thicken.
