Fried Pork In Plum Sauce Recipe

     Ingredients

  • Pork (belly part) - 500 grams

  • Plain flour - 50 grams

  • Corn starch - 50 grams

  • Toasted white sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

  • Egg - (beaten) - 1 piece

  • salt to taste

     Sauce

  • Plum sauce - 3 tablespoons

  • White vinegar - 2 tablespoons

  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon

  • Cornstarch solution - 3 tablespoons

 

Method

  • Wash and cut pork into strips. Marinate pork with salt for 30 minutes.

  • Coat pork strips in plain flour, dip into egg solution then coat with cornstarch again.

  • Heat oil in wok and deep-fry until golden brown.

  • Bring sauce to boil and spread over fried pork. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
