Eggplant With Sweet Basil Leaves Recipe

 

      Ingredients
  • Eggplants - 2 pieces
  • Garlic (chopped) - 2 cloves
  • Sweet basil leaves or mint leaves (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Light soy sauce - 2 tablespoon
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 2 tablespoons

 

      Method

  • Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil and stir fry garlic to fragrant. Add water, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, bring gravy to boil and set aside.
  • Remove skin from eggplants and cut into long strips. Steam at high heat until soft. Remove and spread gravy onto eggplants.
  • Sprinkle with chop sweet basil leaves or mint leaves and serve.
