Drunken Chicken Soup Recipe (Hwang Jiu Ji)

      Ingredients
  • Glutinous rice wine - 2 liters
  • Chicken - 1 bird
  • Ginger (slice) - 100 grams
  • salt - 1 teaspoons
  • sugar - ½ teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon

 

 

     Method

  • Heat up 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a deep sauce pan, stir-fry ginger to fragrant then add chicken and continue to fry until chicken color slightly changed. Add rice wine in and simmer for 15 minutes. Add seasoning and serve hot.

*Ordinary rice wine can also be used if unable to get glutinous rice wine.
