Deep-Fried Pork With Five Spice Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pork (belly part) - 1 kilograms

  • Corn starch - 2 tablespoons

  • egg - 2 pieces

  • Cooking oil for deep-frying

Marinades

  • Ginger juice - 1 tablespoon

  • Onion juice - 1 tablespoon

  • Five spice powder - 2 teaspoons

  • Cooking wine - 3 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Clean and cut pork into thick slices.

  • Marinate meat with marinate ingredients for at least 2 hours, better overnight.

  • Before deep-frying, add corn starch and beaten egg. Stir to mix well.

  • Heat up sufficient oil in wok and deep-fry pork slices with medium heat until gold brown.

  • Drain well and serve.
