Deep-Fried Capelin Recipe

Capelin is considered as a high value fish especially in Japan which particularly sought for its' eggs.

Ingredients

  • 8 capelin
  • ½ tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • cooking oil for deep-frying

Method

  • Clean capelin and rinse well, pat dry and marinate fish with turmeric powder and garlic salt for few minutes.
  • Coat fish with cornstarch and deep fried in high heat until fish turn golden color.
  • Drain well and serve.
