Roast Lean Pork Recipe

 

Ingredients

  • Lean pork with some fat (cut into 2 inches strips) -500 grams

A

  • Chicken stock powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt -2 teaspoons
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  • Black soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cochineal - 2 drops
  • Water - 3 tablespoons

Method

  • Marinate the pork strips in A for 4 to 5 hours
  • Preheat oven to 220˚C. Place pork strips on a cooking rack and roast for 20 minutes
  • Remove form oven and spread remaining marinade.
  • Lower oven temperature to 190˚C and continue to roast for another 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, leave it cool and slice to serve.
