Paper Wrapped Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 bird (about 1.5 kilograms/3 labs)
  • Ginger (shredded) - 2 tablespoons
  • Spring onions (shredded) - 6 stalks
  • Cooked ham (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Greaseproof paper - 20 sheets
  • Cooking oil for deep-frying

A

  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger juice - ½ tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoon
  • Corn flour - ½ tablespoon
  • Cooking wine - 1 tablespoon
  • Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Cut chicken into 20 pieces then marinate chicken in A for 1 hour.
  • Place each piece of chicken with ginger, spring onions and ham on the greaseproof paper. Fold into envelopes and secure with toothpicks. Fry in hot oil for 8 minutes.
  • Remove and drain oil. Serve with paper envelopes.
