Ingredients
- Beef fillet (sliced)- 300
grams
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Spring onions (cut into 2
inches length) - 5 stalks
- ginger - 15 slices
- Carrots (sliced) - 300 grams
- Cooking wine - ½ tablespoon
- Cooking oil - 3 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce -2 tablespoons
- sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 5 tablespoons
Method
- Marinate the beef with
cornstarch (1 tablespoon) sugar (½ teaspoon) black soy sauce (1
teaspoon) sesame oil (½ teaspoon) and 2 tablespoons of water for
20 minutes.
- Heat up the cooking oil in
frying pan, add marinated beef in and stir-fry for 1 minute and
remove from heat.
- Stir-fry the ginger, snow
peas, spring onions and cooking wine with remaining oil for 2
minutes until fragrant.
- Add water, cornstarch, oyster
sauce and
bring to boil then add beef and stir-fry for another minute
until gravy thickens.
- Serve while hot.
