Ingredients
- Tender chicken - 1.2 kilograms
- Ginger - 2 slices
- Dried mushrooms (soaked) - 6
pieces
- Chinese cooking wine - 2
tablespoons
- Water - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
Method
- Clean and cut chicken into 6
pieces and place in a heat proof clay pot or Chinese steam pot.
- Add all ingredients into the
pot and fill the pot with 1 cup of water.
- Boil enough water in a
big steamer and place the steam pot into the steamer and steam
for 2 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Serve while hot
