Clay Pot Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • Tender chicken - 1.2 kilograms
  • Ginger - 2 slices
  • Dried mushrooms (soaked) - 6 pieces
  • Chinese cooking wine - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Clean and cut chicken into 6 pieces and place in a heat proof clay pot or Chinese steam pot.
  • Add all ingredients into the pot and fill the pot with 1 cup of water.
  • Boil  enough water in a big steamer and place the steam pot into the steamer and steam for 2 hours until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Serve while hot
