Ingredients
- Ox tail - 600 grams
- Black eyed beans (mei dou) -
50 grams
- Barley - 40 grams
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
Method
- Clean ox-tail and chop
into pieces. Scald in boiling water for 3 minutes, drain and
rinse with clean water.
- Peel and cut carrot and
potatoes into large pieces. Cut tomatoes into half and quarter
onions.
- Boil sufficient water and add
in all ingredients and cook with low heat for 3 hours.
- Season with pepper and salt.
