Ingredients
- Beef ribs - 380 grams
- Shredded orange peel -
˝tablespoon
- White sesame seeds (fired to
fragrant) - 1 tablespoon
- Cooking wine - 1 teaspoon
- Light soy sauce -1 tablespoon
- Orange wine - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch solution - 1
tablespoon
- Sesame oil - few drops
- Pinch of pepper
- Orange juice - 3 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil - ˝ tablespoon
Method
- Clean beef ribs and drain dry
then cut into 2˝inches in length. Marinate with ˝ tablespoon of
light soy sauce. orange wine, cornstarch, pinch of pepper and
few drops of sesame oil for 30 minutes. Deep-fry the beef ribs
and set aside.
- Blanch shredded orange peel in
boiling water for a while then set aside.
- Heat ˝ tablespoon of cooking
oil in pan, add orange juice, light soy sauce, sugar and
cornstarch solution then sprinkle with wine. Bring to boil then
add in beef ribs and shredded orange peel and turn to low heat
and stir well for 2 minutes and dish up.
- Sprinkle with white sesame
seeds and serve.
