Ingredients
- rump steak - 500 grams
- unsalted roasted cashews - 90
grams
- shallots (sliced) - 8
- garlic (chopped) - 2 cloves
- fresh ginger (sliced) - 2.5 cm
- oil - 3 tablespoons
- corn flour - 1 tablespoon
- water - 1/2 cup
- oyster sauce - 2 teaspoons
- sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
Method
- Remove any excess fat from
meat, cut meat into thin slices and marinate with light soy
sauce, sesame oil, sugar and corn starch for 15 minutes.
- Heat 3
tablespoons of oil in pan/wok, add the beef and quick stir-fry
for 1 minute, remove from wok and set aside.
- Use remaining oil in pan, add
garlic, shallots and ginger, sauté to fragrant.
- Add meat to pan with
