Beef With Spinach Recipe

Ingredients

  • Fillet steak - 220 grams
  • Spinach - 400 grams
  • Green peas - 2 tablespoons
  • Carrot (diced) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (crushed) - 1 teaspoon
  • Cooking wine - 1 teaspoon
  • Light soy sauce - 2 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch solution - 2 tablespoons
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons

Marinade

  • Light soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Dark soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar - ¼ teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Drops of sesame oil and pinch of pepper

Method

  • Clean and cut fillet steak in cubes. Marinate with marinades for 15 minutes, deep fry in warm oil for 1 minute and set aside.
  • Boil diced carrot and green peas in boiling water for 1 minute and drain.
  • Wash and cut spinach into 2 inches length, stir fry in hot oil with sugar and salt to taste. Dish out when cooked.
  • Stir fry garlic to fragrant, add beef and sprinkle with wine. Add diced carrot, green peas, light soy sauce and cornstarch solution.
  • Stir and mix well for 1 minute then spread on top of cooked spinach and serve.
