Sweet And Sour Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • Fish fillet - 400 grams
  • Cornstarch - 6 tablespoons
  • Cooking oil - 1 cup
  • Onion (sliced) - 1 piece
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • cornstarch solution - ½ cup
  • Tomato sauce - 3 tablespoons

Method

  • Season fish with salt and pepper  for 10 minutes then coated the fish with cornstarch.
  • Deep-fry fish in cooking oil until golden brown , drained and set aside.
  • Keep 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in pan and add onions, sugar, vinegar, tomato sauce  and stir-fry for 2 minute then add in cornstarch solution.
  • When the gravy thickens, spread over the deep-fried fish and serve while hot.
