Fennel (Jintan Manis)
Fennel is the dried ripe fruit of a perennial aromatic herbaceos plant, which grows in mild climate. Fresh fennel leaves are used in fish and meat dishes, salad dressings and stuffing. Fennel seeds may be roasted prior to incorporation into into seasoning blends to intensify their flavor and is used in curry blends and Chinese Five Spice Powder.
