Ingredients

Pumpkin (peeled and sliced) - 500
grams

Rice flour - 500 grams

Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon

Chicken stock powder - 1 teaspoon

Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons

Onion (chopped finely) - 1 large

Water - 1 liter

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Garnishing Ingredients

Dried prawns (ground coarsely and
pan-fried) - 80 grams

Shallots (chopped and fried) - 3
tablespoons

Chili and spring onions (chopped
finely) - ½ cup
Method

Steam sliced pumpkin with high
heat for 10 minute until soft then set aside.

Add rice flour, brown sugar, water
and chicken stock powder in a big bowl and mix well.

Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in
pan and stir-fry to fragrant, add rice flour mixture and stir to
mix well.

Add pumpkin in and continue to
stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

Grease
a steaming tray with some oil and steam it for 3 minutes. Pour
in the pumpkin mixture and level the top portion then steam it
for 40 minutes.

Sprinkle garnishing ingredients on top of the pumpkin cake and
slice into small pieces to serve.
